Technical Construction Lead (USA based, with international travel)

Role Summary

As Technical Construction Lead, you’ll support customers across a range of needs—from answering technical queries to leading full structure builds.

You will have in-depth construction knowledge to ensure all Haygrove structures are built to specification and in line with our installation methods. 

While the US will be your primary market, you’ll also support international projects as needed, spending approximately three weeks out of four on customer sites.

About You

You’ll bring strong technical construction knowledge, ideally with experience in agricultural or horticultural structures. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and confident working independently on site. With excellent communication skills and a flexible approach, you thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and complete machine set-ups, customer training, and full structure installations.
• Conduct post-completion audits for both Haygrove and customer-built structures.
• Be a Health & Safety champion, preparing and reviewing risk assessments, and ensuring full compliance with H&S procedures.
• Stay current with the latest operational and technical procedures, including Haygrove's construction manuals.
• Provide expert customer support, from technical advice to hands-on construction coordination.
• Train and mentor Haygrove teams and subcontractors in safe, efficient build methods.
• Manage project delivery within budget and allocate tasks as required.
• Represent Haygrove professionally in customer communications, both remotely and onsite.
• Work primarily across the US market with regular international travel – expect to be on customer sites 3 weeks out of every 4
